We are excited to once again hold our annual Fall Book Sale at the Lake Forest Recreation Center. We missed interacting with our volunteers, shoppers, and the Lake Forest community during this past year and cannot wait to see everyone again.

Need some new material to keep your summer reading going through fall? Biographies are a window into lives we otherwise would never have the joy of learning about. The stories and life lessons of others can help us gain experience and perspective and improve our decision making. Travel through the U.S., Iraq, Paris, Hollywood, or Bolivia in these twelve biographies.

As a first step of the Capital Improvement Project (CIP) to enhance and revitalize Lake Forest Library, on August 10 the Library Board approved prioritizing repair and restoration work on the dome and interior rotunda, and appointed the Library Board Building Committee to investigate next steps and solicit feedback and recommendations from the City of Lake Forest, qualified experts, Lake Forest Library patrons, and community organizations at future dates to be determined.
