Chef Addie Gundry made dessert at Lake Forest Library

Apr 26, 2018 – LAKE FOREST Ill – Lake Forest chef and cookbook author Addie Gundry presented to a crowd of over 40 people at Lake Forest Library on April 25. She shared her life experiences and culinary training including working for Martha Stewart, winning Alton Brown's Cutthroat Kitchen, and competing on The Food Network Star.

Addie is the author of a series of eleven cookbooks including No-Bake Desserts: 103 Easy Recipes for No-Bake Cookies, Bars and Treats. She did a cooking demo of her Vanilla Beach dessert of pudding, graham cracker crumbs, and gummy candy last night, and then the audience had an opportunity to make their own. She also prepared her Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese and Chunky Chicken Salad Cups for the audience to sample.
