Congratulations to the Friends Scholarship Winners

The Friends of Lake Forest Library are pleased to announce this year’s Scholarship recipients. Allison Todd and Sophia Zar (Lake Forest High School) and Carissa Schultz (North Shore Country Day School) were selected from a competitive field of 15 applicants and each was presented with an award of $2,000.

Each year, the Friends fund three scholarships to graduating seniors from Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and Knollwood who demonstrate a passion for reading. Applicants are evaluated on an essay, their reading‑related activities, and letters of recommendation. Congratulations to Allison, Sophia, and Carissa!

Stay tuned for details on applying for next year’s scholarship.
