The Friends are pleased to announce the approval of the following grants totaling $122,760 for Lake Forest Library for the fiscal year ending April 30, 2023:

• $40,000 toward the retention of an art and cataloging expert to work with the Library’s art collection
• $20,000 toward live programming for children (Summer 2022)
• $20,000 toward Lake Forest Reads (Fall 2022)
• $15,000 toward Read Between the Ravines (Spring 2023)
• $12,000 toward new Media Lab furniture
• $8,260 toward migration and continued digitization of the Lake Forester
• $7,500 toward the retention of an archivist to work with the Library’s historical documents to be transferred to the History Center of Lake Forest–Lake Bluff
