Conquer a Genre: Winter Reading Challenge, December 1–28 image with dragon listening to a Wonderbook

This winter we invite you to snuggle up with multiple books in a single genre!

How to participate

  1. Register online in the Winter Reading calendar event. Make a separate registration for each participant!
  2. Download/Print the Book Log PDF for your age group below. Your Book Log includes instructions, a list of genres, and prizes.
  3. Choose a genre from your age group's list and read the required number of books. If you choose to conquer additional genres, more power (and more prizes!) to you.
  4. Bring in your Book Log to redeem your prizes by February 28.

 

Youngsters through Grade 1

For each book read

1 RAFFLE TICKET for a chance to win one of three grand prizes: your choice between a $60 gift card to the Lake Forest Book Store OR a 200-piece Tinkertoy Building Set

For each genre conquered

1 BOOK PRIZE

Prize limits

Conquer up to 5 genres to earn 25 raffles tickets and 5 book prizes.
