Program Description

Details

Register and join David Blixt in person as he shares his experience conducting research for his books. The author of What Girls Are Good For: A Novel of Nellie Bly, Blixt traveled the world researching Bly (the pioneer of investigative journalism), and even recovered articles she wrote that were thought to be lost. Whether you are writing a book or delving into family genealogy, this workshop can help rev up your research journey.

Elevator updates are scheduled to begin January 7 and continue throughout the month. New wiring, improved controls, and an ADA-compliant communication system will make the elevator more reliable and accessible. Your Librarians are happy to retrieve items from other floors for you; please ask at a service desk.

The Deerpath Streetscape Project begins soon. Please plan accordingly as it may affect your driving and parking when visiting the Library. For details, visit the City of Lake Forest website.
