An ex-con of great musical aptitude, Rose-Lynn Haven is a mother on a mission. Desperate to leave Glasgow in pursuit of her dreams, Rose-Lynn has her sights set on Nashville, where she hopes she'll strike it big as a country singer. The only thing standing in her way is her discouraging mother, Marion. Marion, who forces Rose to accept a cleaning job, can't be bothered with her daughter's lofty ambitions. Fortunately, the people Rose works for are in her corner.
