Details
Register and join author and historian Robert Mueller on Zoom, or watch the live stream in-person at the Library, for a program commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Travel back in time to the Normandy Invasion at Omaha Beach on June 6, 1944, as Mueller focuses on the individuals who overcame the German defenses and reflects on the continued importance of D-Day today.
Robert Mueller holds advanced degrees in physics from the University of Illinois and in business administration from Lake Forest College. He performed his military service in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during the Vietnam era. Mr. Mueller is a member of the Chicago Writers Association and the Military Writers Society of America and has written six visitor guides to the battlefields of Northern Europe under the Fields of War imprint.
