Register and join author Troy Taylor on Zoom for an eerie evening of local history and hauntings. Go beyond the legends and lore to discover the real stories behind the strange tales lurking in your own backyard.
Troy Taylor is the author of nearly 140 books on history, hauntings, true crime, the unexplained, and the supernatural in America, including Haunted America, Weird Illinois, and other regional titles. He is the founder of American Hauntings Ink, which offers books, events, and ghost tours across the state. He also hosts the American Hauntings Podcast, the latest episode of which deals with an unsolved mystery in Jacksonville from 1959. He has appeared in numerous television shows and documentaries and his book about the St. Louis Exorcism of 1949 is currently under contract to be turned into a film by a major studio. He was born and raised in the Midwest and divides his time between Alton and Jacksonville, Illinois.
