Register and join your Lake Forest Librarians in person for a lively discussion of Last Summer on State Street by Toya Wolfe, a perfect complement to this year's Read Between the Ravines title Three Girls from Bronzeville: A Uniquely American Memoir of Race, Fate, and Sisterhood by Dawn Turner. This striking coming-of-age debut about friendship, community, and resilience is set in the Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago during the 1990s. The author of this novel, Toya Wolfe, will be interviewing Dawn Turner at the History Center of Lake Forest-Lake Bluff on April 25.
This event is part of Read Between the Ravines, the joint nonfiction reading program from Lake Forest Library and Lake Bluff Public Library. To learn more, visit our Read Between page.
