In the documentary, "The Long Shadow," director Frances Causey traces her family's legacy of white privilege, placing it in the context of the history of anti-Black racism in the United States that began with slavery and continues to impact our society today.
Watch the documentary ahead of time (see below) and then join us for a Q&A with the film director at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 24.

"The Long Shadow" Q&A event is hosted by Northbrook Public Library, co-sponsored by Lake Forest Library and other Illinois libraries, and held in partnership with Racial Awareness in the North Shore (RAIN) and the Together is Better Alliance (TiBA).
