DVD2GO is a self-service movie rental kiosk located inside the Metra West Lake Forest Station (Milwaukee District), 911 Telegraph Rd, Lake Forest. The machine can be accessed whenever the station is open. The waiting room at the station is currently open 4:00 am–7:00 pm.
How to Pick Your Movies
Search for movies using the touchscreen on the DVD2GO machine in the train station.
Reserve online and pick up later
To browse and reserve movies from anywhere, visit the DVD2GO page. Once you have made your reservations, you have 12 hours to retrieve your movies.
When you go to the DVD2GO machine to pick up your movies, you will need to bring the same library card you used to reserve the movies. (Knowing your library card number isn't enough; the DVD2GO machine needs to scan your physical card.)
If You Have Problems
If the disc is damaged, please return it to the Library at 360 E. Deerpath Road and let the circulation staff know of the problem.
Occasionally, the kiosk may have trouble reading the barcode of a movie. The kiosk will deposit these movies into a box in the back of the machine. If this happens to you, please let us know of the problem by calling the Circulation Desk at 847-234-0636.
If the machine is out of service and you need to return a movie, you may return it to the Lake Forest Library at 360 E. Deerpath Road and let the circulation staff know of the problem.
You must have an active Lake Forest Library card to use this service. You may need to clear outstanding Library fines or confirm residency at the Lake Forest Library circulation desk.
Where to Return
DVD2GO rentals must be returned at the DVD2GO kiosk (using the same library card used for checkout) when the train station is open.
They cannot be returned to the Library or in the A/V and book drops. You will be responsible for replacement fees if disks are damaged due to being returned to the wrong location.
About the Collection
DVD2GO carries both DVDs and Blu-Rays. The DVD2GO collection is separate from the Library's collection. Movies in the Lake Forest Library collection cannot be reserved through the DVD2GO rental page.
When you search the Library catalog for movies, you will see a separate listing for DVD2GO items, which will direct you to visit dvd2go.lakeforestlibrary.org to reserve the movie for later pickup at the DD2GO machine.
