Library StarQuest

October 7–15, 2017

Students– dare you embark on a quest to explore our library galaxy? Lake Forest Library will
host a scavenger hunt for students in grades 7–12 all during Teen Read Week October 7. Come
into the library Solo, or with a crew, and receive your mission. Learn your strengths and
weaknesses as you navigate throughout all four floors. Discover new worlds of information and
entertainment. Create a super memory. When you have completed Library StarQuest, you will
be entered in a drawing for three grand prizes of $50 gift cards to local businesses AND receive
a fine waiver card good for up to $5.00 in fines.

1. Must reside in or attend schools in Districts 67, 65 or 115.
2. Students must be in grades 7-12 or ages 12-17.
3. Student must possess a valid library card. Lake Forest residents: if you don’t have your
card with you, it can be looked up with ID. Need a card? Your first card is free!

Go to Adult Reference or Children’s Library desk, to receive a list of items in StarQuest
(your Mission).

Completed list (your Mission) including entry form should be returned to Children’s
Library or Adult Reference Desk by end of day October 15th to receive fine waiver card
and be eligible for prize drawings.

StarQuest may be completed all at once or in segments.

Should take about 45 minutes to complete.

Fine waiver cards are transferable and good only at Lake Forest Library for one year.
