Find e-books, audio books, videos and music through the Library’s subscriptions to these download services. Access is supported on a wide variety of computers and portable devices.A collection of e-books, audiobooks, and videos for downloading to your computer, eBook reader, smartphone, or other portable device. Titles available include best-sellers, classics, popular fiction and non-fiction reference materials, study aids, young adult, and children’s materials. Access the collection with your Lake Forest Library card number.

The library provides unlimited digital access to 90+ magazines with just your library card number and a Zinio account. Sign up and download the newest editions of Newsweek, Forbes, and Cosmo each month! Enjoy your magazines in your web browser on the go with apps for Apple and Android devices.

Downloadable MP3 music tracks from Sony Music Entertainment’s catalog. Each Lake Forest Library cardholder can download 3 tracks per week beginning each Monday. Once logged in, a usage counter in the upper right corner of the page shows you how many downloads you have used. To download, select “download now,” and save it to your desktop. Once the track is on your desktop, you can play it from your computer or move it to your iTunes or other MP3 library for transferring to your MP3 player.

The LibraryBox is a wireless network used to provide free eBooks and other content to the public. There is no login required and it is completely free. It utilizes open source code from NYU professor David Darts with modifications made by the Lake Forest Library.
Uses: Currently, the main use of the LibraryBox is to provide quality public domain and creative commons licensed materials to the public. We plan to expand this to be a place for you to share your art, writing, and music.
