Find eBooks, audio books, videos and music through the Library’s subscriptions to these download services.  Access is supported on a wide variety of computers and portable devices. A collection of eBooks, audiobooks, and videos for downloading to your computer, eBook reader, smartphone, or other portable device. Use the Libby or Overdrive app to access these titles on a smartphone or tablet (instructions below). Titles available include best-sellers, classics, popular fiction and non-fiction reference materials, study aids, young adult, and children’s materials. Access the collection with your Lake Forest Library card number.

Instantly borrow free digital movies, music, eBooks and more, 24/7 with your library card. Bringing you hundreds of thousands of movies, full music albums, audiobooks and more, hoopla is a revolutionary digital service made possible by your local library. Just go to the login screen and create a new account with your library card number. You can stream or download through the hoopla app on your tablet or phone. Our new eBook service, exclusively for Lake Forest Library patrons! This service works only on app-capable devices (iPad, Nook, Nexus, etc.) To get access, visit your device's App Store and download the Cloud Library app. You can also view and check out our collection online here (reading app for Windows Mac).

Discover and download MP3 music tracks from Sony Music Entertainment’s catalog. Each Lake Forest Library cardholder can download 3 tracks per week beginning each Monday. Once logged in, a usage counter in the upper right corner of the page shows you how many downloads you have used. To download, select “download now,” and save it to your desktop. Don't worry about return dates or fines, once you download the song, its yours!
