Today's Book: The Carpenter’s Son by A. E. Housman and “Pinched” by Jack London

10:00 am to 11:30 am in the Conference Room

What Great Books do you discuss?  We read 10-50 page readings selected by the Great Books Foundation and compiled in convenient paperback books.  They are classic and contemporary essays, short stories, plays, poems, and excerpts from literature that have influenced our culture.  Over the summer and December breaks we read longer books that the Foundation has suggested. Where can I buy the book with this year’s selections?  The Lake Forest Library reference librarian has copies for purchase.
