The adult circulation department assists patrons with library cards and checking material in and out of the library. Questions regarding fines, overdue or missing materials, and updating user information may be directed to the circulation department by calling 847-234-0636 and pressing 1 once the voicemail message begins.

Checking out materials

Books: unlimited quantity, two week loan period, holds allowed

Audio Books: unlimited quantity, two week loan period, holds allowed

Music CDs: unlimited quantity, two week loan period, holds allowed

Feature Films and TV Shows: unlimited quantity (adult and children), three day loan period for films, two weeks for tv shows, holds not allowed

Documentaries (travel, history, etc.): unlimited quantity, two week loan period, holds not allowed 

Video Games: 3 per card, two week loan period, holds not allowed

Magazines: 8 per card, two week loan period, holds allowed

DVD2GO: 3 per card, three day loan period, 12 hour hold allowed when item is available.
